Yesterday’s visit at the Kiin Kiin restaurant in Nørrebro, Copenhagen was my first ever in a Michelin starred restaurant. Kiin Kiin happens to be the only Michelin starred Thai restaurant in the world.
It was a fantastic, memorable experience, both gastronomically, aesthetically, and artistically. And quite different from the often very simple straight-from-the-can meals that I’m used to (and love!) when travelling…like this, or this, or this, or this.
My taste buds were pleasantly raped several times during the 8 course dinner.
Yes, the dinner comes with a price tag (625 USD for 2, all included), but it really is worth it – the whole experience comes totally recommended.
